Definitely not the funnest way to spend time but looking back the two red-eye flights (AKL-BNE-HNL the first night and HNL-DFW-JAX the second night) gave me time to reflect on a truly remarkable 2-1/2 month “Golf Journey to Australia & New Zealand.” If I were you, I would not be concerned with the distance traveled. Just make sure you stay ‘Down Under’ and in ‘Kiwi-Land’ long enough to enjoy everything. If you have or can create the opportunity to go, GO! My 2-1/2 month visit was a good start, but definitely not long enough to do everything!
